Using Cool Cards as Visual Reminders of Information

A useful and cool tool for high visual processors are flashcards or reminder cards. Some books have them to support what they are teaching in the book. Think and Grow Rich was the deck I used in this video.

Hey JoyGenea here, international Neurodiversity Coach, always talking about dyslexia and ADHD.

And today one of the things I wanted to chat about, I recently did a blog, a little write-up about cards. So maybe you read a book and you’re like, this has got some good data, but you know your brain isn’t always gonna be able to retrieve it when you want to and you’re high visual. So whenever possible I do look to see if they have kind of cards to go with it. And that’s a great way for me to stay connected with some of the data and the information that’s in there.

So this is my Think and Grow Rich Prosperity card deck. As you can see very nice colors, lots of visual going on and so I’ll remove the first 2 covers and I’ll maybe mmm and I’ll change it up and let’s see what what might be a good topic for me to think of today. So great leaders love that and it says, “You may as well know that every great leader from the dawn of civilization down to the present was a dreamer.” Well, isn’t that true about us fabulous neurodiverse. Always dreaming big. So just a little reminder. If you need some kind of visual reminders and maybe you’re not able to make your own flash cards, that takes a bit of time. They might already have some for something that you enjoy.

So thanks. I’m JoyGenea, international neurodiversity coach. Have a fabulous day.
