A Common Coaching Question: Can you help me save my job?

In this video, I tackle a question I hear all the time:
“Can you help me save my job if I have dyslexia, ADHD, or autism?”

The answer is YES—and even better, I’ll show you how to spot the “black cats” in life’s game, those hidden traps or toxic dynamics that can derail your career, especially if you’re working under poor leadership or facing subtle (or not-so-subtle) bullying.

As an Unconventional Leadership and International Neurodiversity Coach, I’ve guided countless high-performing professionals—many of whom are neurodivergent—through these exact challenges.

Here’s a common question I get:
“Can you help me save my job?”

“I’m dyslexic,” or “I have ADHD,” or “I’m autistic and da-da-da-da…”

Yes.

And maybe even better than that, I can teach you how to notice black cats in life’s game—and how to avoid them or fight back.

You might be working for a person who is a poor leader or is on a power trip, and the goal is to suck the life out of you and your sanity.

This is bullying, and it does work for some people. One person feels powerless. They need to find ways to take power and autonomy away from someone else because they feel powerful for just a little bit.

It is a tale as old as time.

As a coach who specializes with high-performing professionals, some with neurodiversity, this is one scenario I hear about and have a lot of experience coaching people through.

If you wanna know one of the first things I do with clients who come to me with this particular question, check out my Different Thinker motivational video I’m gonna be dropping in just a couple of days from now.

And if you’re catching this and it’s not its first drop—hey, just move over a couple videos. You will find it there.

Don’t forget to share this video if it was valuable. Like it if you just feel inspired. And hey, follow me for more great videos and to catch that other upcoming video.

I’m JoyGenea, Unconventional Leadership and International Neurodiversity Coach.

Thanks, haha.
