As a coach, I am always training myself to grow and progress further. One of my favorite resources that helps me do that is The Behavior Panel on YouTube.
Watching their videos helps me to learn how to trust my own assessments in communication with others more. If you want to build that skill for yourself, check them out! https://www.youtube.com/@TheBehaviorPanel/videos

So one of my favorite YouTube channels to watch, and I consider it kind of training that I do for myself in a variety of ways, is– I totally enjoy what’s called– The Behavioral Panel.
It is four gentlemen who specialize in body language and human behavior, and they analyze videos. Those types of things, and give feedback on what they see; are these people lying, what little micro expressions do they demonstrate that show hmm they might not be telling the truth, or what’s really behind what they’re saying.
And one of the key reasons that I actually do this is because I grew up in an environment that had a lot of trauma and it had a lot of gaslighting and so I had a person telling me that my feelings, my instincts, those types of things, weren’t accurate when actually they were screaming at me that what was going on was not healthy, was not okay that people were lying to me all of those things. And I found by hanging out and watching videos from that channel, not a ton at a time, I watch maybe one a week or something, but I practice up affirming for to myself that my natural instincts and inclinations, when I’m reading body language, that they’re actually good, and that has really helped to increase my awareness of noticing certain people that might try and take advantage of me, because I am a kind and kind of empathetic type of person and always giving people the benefit of the doubt and so it’s been a great opportunity, plus I find it really fascinating and interesting.
So, that’s a little secret that I use for kind of training and further assisting myself, is I watch the behavioral panel.
Thanks for tuning in, I’m JoyGenea, International Neurodiversity Coach helping people understand their brains, their strengths, and really getting into that to create an incredible and amazing life. It’s not that hard, it can happen rather quickly, just gotta get in the conversation. Bye now.
