ADHD CEOs, we need to talk. Your habits are shaping your company’s culture — and not always in a good way. And I’m going to call you on it.
Skipping meals, no vacation, working 12-hour days on hyperfocus mode — it might work for you, but your team is burning out trying to keep up with you.
And here’s the thing: your ADHD can be a superpower. Your creative, fast-thinking, visionary skills are wonderful. But without the right leadership structure, your brilliance becomes chaos.
So when you hire strong managers, delegate, and set healthy boundaries, you don’t just protect your energy — you give your team permission to do the same. You take a vacation — that tells your team it’s okay to rest. You not don’t answer emails at 2 a.m. — that sets a tone. And you model balance, because that actually demonstrates real success.
So lead loud, lead proud, and lead healthily.
Please tag and share this with other entrepreneurs that you know — that might be a different thinker and have some ADHD — because I’m JoyGenea, international neurodiversity coach, and really cheering for your success in business and in life.
Thank you.
