Getting stuck doom-scrolling can take a big energetic toll on different thinkers. It is so important to have truly fun and light-hearted activities to recharge with! One of my favorites is sticker books!

Thank you for stumbling across my video. Now I’m going to encourage you to stop doom scrolling, and if you need a great distraction, I have one for you that gets you off of devices, allows your eyes to adjust, and let your brain be occupied with pretty pictures, and what that is is sticker books by number. Super simple type of thing. See you have a page, it has numbers. You get sticker sheets in the back, and you just coordinate the numbers. It’s kind of like putting together a puzzle. Reminds me of that, and it is a trick that I use to- here’s another one- to take myself off of devices, to get myself to engage a little more presently, and to allow my brain to relax. Here’s the other one that I have, and the reason that that is really important, and I got a majority of these off Amazon. There’s also some really nice ones on Etsy. Why that is important, is because these don’t cause me to have any major emotional reactions, and doom scrolling can, and when you are trying to actually recharge and feel better unless you can 100% guarantee that what’s coming at you off the internet is gonna stay positive which, remember their algorithm is designed to actually only let you have so much positive and then they wanna instill a bunch of fear and and anxiety in you and for us unconventional thinkers, that isn’t always helpful. So, this is my huge encouragement. It is a trick that I use to keep my bandwidth with me and to not give it away freely. Nobody gets to walk freely in my brain. I try to keep that at a limit. I’m JoyGenea Unconventional leadership coach, international neurodiversity coach and a champion for those incredible thinkers that are dyslexic ADHD, autistic, or a soup of it all. Thank you so much. Bye now.
