This week’s Different Thinker Motivational Moment is about the fact that sometimes you can’t see the thing right in front of you because you’re so distracted by the other thing in the room. And nobody quite gets that.
My motivation for you is this: just embrace it. It’s okay. Take a deep breath, and then get back focused on the person probably talking in front of you—not the other thing in the room that’s very, very distracting.
It’s okay. We get distracted—or can—as different thinkers. It can happen. Maybe make a note of it, but try as best you can to be respectful and engaged with the people that are right in front of you.
I’m JoyGenea, International Neurodiversity Coach. I get it. It’s all okay. And it’s okay to be slightly distracted by the other things in the room and then bring your attention back to what matters.
Have an awesome day. Bye now!
