Hey, this week’s Different Thinker Motivational Moment is about taking care of your brain through food. And what I’m talking about is: get to know what helps your brain thrive. Dr. Daniel Amen studied this immensely. A lot of people have studied what foods really help your brain to thrive, to heal, to do its absolute best.
So when we’re talking about being a different thinker—a different thinker’s brain processes differently and needs a little bit of different power, actually—and needs to be, if you want the most out of it, you kind of got to be nice to it. And I don’t know what that means for you exactly, but I’d highly recommend that you explore it.
Typically, I’m just going to use Dr. Daniel Amen. He talks about no sugar, no dairy, and actually gluten-free. He’s all of that, which is pretty incredible. And his wife has created so many cookbooks with fabulous recipes in them that it makes it easy if you want to help support yourself in living that way and having that kind of nutritional health plan. But you don’t have to make it that complicated. There are other ways to do this.
But I highly recommend that you explore food and health because your brain—and the food that you’re putting in, which is the fuel that keeps your body going, which helps your brain function—that matters. And that’s a Different Thinker Motivation Moment.
It’s important to explore that. Keep drinking your water—best thing you can do for your brain. And then on top of that, start to learn what foods really help support it, and which foods cause it to have a high sugar and then crash, have a low—not always the best.
I’m JoyGenea, International Neurodiversity Coach, coming at you saying: you can do this, no problem. Get out there and conquer the world—and definitely learn more about your brain. Bye now.
