This week’s Different Thinker Motivational Moment—well heck, it’s just something fun that I do.
Years ago—years and years and years ago—before AI, before, oh my gosh, before just a whole bunch of other crap, I wanted to read more books, and I wanted to read them faster. I knew that I needed some audio services to make that easier. Well, they didn’t have those types of things at the time. It was only available to college students and was super expensive.
Long story short, PDF software did allow for that. So, I figured out the best thing I could do was order hardcover books and cut out the book from the actual spine—I know!—and then scan it.
To this day, I order my books, get them in hardcover as often as possible, and scan them in. That way, I now have access to lots of services that can help me read these, on top of audiobooks and so forth.
So remember, you’re a different thinker, and sometimes you need things in a different manner. Be creative. Be resourceful. That’s what this is.
Enjoy your books any way that you need to!
