DTMM: Knowing Sooner

Many people wait until adulthood for a dyslexia diagnosis, while some of us receive that diagnosis at a young age. In my experience of being diagnosed at five, I struggled for a long time to recognize my strengths and validate myself. What turned things around was realizing I needed to find my own path and not follow neurotypical blueprints.

Mapping your path takes time, consideration, and support. Coaching was an essential part of my journey to success and can be part of yours too! Reach out today for your FREE coaching consultation call CLICK HERE.

What I wish I’d known 30 years ago- that being diagnosed at age 5 with dyslexia meant a whole lot more than it was hard for me to spell and read. It is a whole brain processing difference, so I’m gonna do things different than the typical person. I needed to know how I processed information and what brought out the best in me. I spent years thinking I was broken dumb and a complete reject and the outcomes of my life validated this belief. That’s how it works. This whole time I was working off someone else’s manual, I needed to learn and communicate for my success, and I wasn’t succeeding until I started my own map and my own guide for different thinkers, and then I started to enjoy the success and happiness I was searching for.

I’m JoyGenea International Neurodiversity Success Coach co collaborating with different thinkers to build amazing outcomes for themselves their communities and their companies thank you so much bye now.
