Hi, this week’s Different Thinker Motivational Moment is about finding ways to express gratitude and appreciation for the people in our lives. It can be kind of complicated sometimes when a person isn’t always able to tap into their emotions and their feelings, and that can lead to other people thinking that they just don’t care, when really, they do. They’re just not expressing it in the same way as everyone else or in the way that most people are used to, thereby neurotypical. And this is my reminder for my different thinkers: find your way of showing gratitude.
Find your way of expressing appreciation, and then do it. So, my challenge this week for different thinkers is: ten people. Find them and share your appreciation for them—in words, in song, in drawings, in whatever is your form of expression. But please, practice that. It is a gift you will give yourself, and it is a huge gift for the other people.
So, Different Thinker Motivational Moment is learning to express gratitude more and to do it more. I’m JoyGenea, international neurodiversity coach, encouraging you to have a thriving, thrilling, successful, amazing life with your brilliant different thinker brain.
Bye now.
