I know that when you’re watching this, it’s potentially a new year, and this is your Different Thinker Motivational Moment about the New Year.
Don’t overwhelm yourself with the New Year. Congratulations—you’ve completed another year on this Earth! Way to go! But don’t make the next year too complicated. Enjoy this moment. Enjoy the space around you. Enjoy the people you might actually like to be with, the ones you are with.
If you’re working on a resolution (I talked about that recently), keep it really simple. Just one little thing at a time—that’s all. You don’t need to overwhelm the system. Your life is probably far better than you believe. There might be some things you want to grow in a particular direction, and that’s where you should put your time and energy.
So, as you think about this New Year that you’ve just stepped into, my Different Thinker Motivational Moment is: Don’t make it complicated. Find a little area you want to grow in. Start researching it. Start growing in that area.
I’m JoyGenea, an International Neurodiversity Coach and a strong believer in different thinkers—because different thinkers are changing the world.
