Hi! So this week’s Different Thinker Motivational Moment is The Power of Movement.
What a lot of people don’t understand is that just simply doing a two-minute dance, two minutes of vigorous exercise—jumping jacks, push-ups, running in place, squats (I hate burpees, by the way, but I’ll use the word burpees)—doing those types of things, the amount of additional blood that helps push to your brain and throughout your body can be so immensely beneficial throughout your day.
So that is my Different Thinker Motivational Moment. If you are a different thinker and part of your different thinking means that you sit a lot—on a computer, on devices, or just have a job that keeps you sedentary—take two to three minutes. Start to think about how you can use two to three minutes to get some additional blood flowing through your brain.
You’ll be utterly surprised at how that assists you—in spelling, in communication issues, and in staying just a little bit more focused. That little tiny bit of energy and effort can result in great, great outcomes.
So that’s my encouragement today: two to three minutes where you can do some form of vigorous physical movement. Running up and down the steps a couple of times—you can do it! You will be surprised how that little bit is going to help clear up your brain and give you a little more oomph.
Thanks! I’m JoyGenea, International Neurodiversity Coach and Different Thinker, giving you some good data. Bye now!
