Email is very overwhelming for some of us different thinkers. Luckily there are tools to help make it manageable.

Hi. Are you a neurodiverse person that hates email? You do not have to hate email anymore. I’m really gonna recommend that you check out Speechify. It was actually created by another neurodiverse person– amazing! It is not even shocking really, and it can make a huge difference in your email. I have been using it for a while and I just hadn’t talked about it. It has made a nice difference for me. I am dyslexic, so anytime I- this is just my personal story- anytime I get an email that requires scrolling, like I start to scroll, because a client may be telling me a great story, which I love, or I’ve got a newsletter which I’m like, ‘I really want this information,’ but the second I scroll, I’m like ‘Oh man, I’ll just save this for later.’ And then I wind up with this stack of emails of ‘I’m gonna get to that later.’ That has to stop. Like it is just not productive. I don’t enjoy it. My inbox never feels like it’s ever going to get conquered, so I implemented Speechify, I’ve already been using dictation software for replying to things so that does expedite quite a bit for me. That combination, I was really surprised but that combination had wonderful wonderful results and I have helped a wide variety of my clients implement a proper system for how they do things, so that combination might not be perfect for everybody, but if you are hating your emails and it is a necessary part of your job and what you’re doing in the world I highly recommend that you look at possibly purchasing the premium, and again they aren’t, they didn’t tell me to do this, they’re not giving me any you know, I’m not getting any nice spiff off of this or anything. I’m just saying ‘Hey, I’m using this, it’s making a really big difference. I’ve helped clients implement a system that’s right for them but it has had parts of and involved them getting Speechify and they have been utterly amazed and if you’re one of those people that likes to be a little creative and play with all the buttons, there is the option when you sign up for premium Speechify to create your own audio and I will tell you, that was oodles of fun. So now every once in a while I’m going to be taking some of my articles and so forth and actually having them translated so it sounds like I’m reading it to people.

Check out Speechify it might have some great answers for you, and always stay thinking about the latest technologies because a lot of stuff comes out to make people’s lives simpler and for us neurodiverse people, it actually can be a game changer.
