Eps 2 – Did you know Dec 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities

This is something started by the United Nations in 1992.

The goal of this day is to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic, and cultural life.

This year’s focus is on the participation of persons with disabilities and their role in leadership

Did you know that when companies add in accommodations for persons with disabilities, they actually improve things for lots of other employees who have some neurodivergence’s and just don’t know it?  It is astounding and I get to see it happen every time a business expands in this direction.

What might that mean for you as a leader or as a person who is differently able?
