What skills have you built through gaming?

I wanna put a big huge shout out to Daniel Baker. I just got done recording for his podcast and it was so much fun. We had an incredible conversation about gameification in life and the incredible tools that come from gaming that apply to life, and in all areas of life from relationships, to work, and so forth, and one thing he in particular specializes in helping with that translation for people in the in the business world and in their lives, taking that gamification. What I know is, my people, my unconventional thinkers, my- you know- neurodiverse group, huge gamers. Like a majority of my clients have played a millions of hours gaming and they have not always translated those skills, have not always recognized that so many of the things so much of the neurology that they have built up and Learned through role-playing games, through the interactiveness of games, actually applies to real life, actually applies to leadership, applies to so many things, and that I have so much fun when I get to help them say, ‘oh no you already have the skill, we don’t have to even build this skill, you’ve already demonstrated it, just need to pick it up from over here and pop it in over there.’ Yes that incredible and easy, so I just had so much fun working with Daniel and talking about that and making a podcast where we talked about that. We talked about how gamification, I’m finding gamification of a person’s life, and adding in gamification to their coaching goals, and what we’re working on really helps work around um PDA, work around that aggressive avoidance that can intervene for people, and kind of cripple them and make it hard to move forward. I am finding gamification is an incredible tool for that, and that is why I’ve been studying it. So, this is an introduction into some of the stuff that I’m newly applying to my business, and I am so excited.
