Hey so yeah, I’m coming at you just after working out, not looking fabulous. This is not the kind of video I’d like to make and I think it’s really important to also demonstrate to you that it’s not always perfect being neurodiverse, being anybody, it’s not always pretty and just a reminder, I love playing cards and you know what, a lot of times I don’t get dealt really great cards. Sometimes you get dealt really tough cards, but you can still make a winning hand out of that and that’s what I think being a different thinker and being a different thinking leader is about, that amazing ability to take whatever cards you’ve been dealt and create an amazing hand for yourself, an amazing life even. So, while I am not excited to be showing up today working from working out, I’m doing it intentionally because I work out because that’s how I handle the cards I’ve been dealt, and when I don’t work out
and I don’t take care of my brain by giving it a way to sweat out all the anxiety, all the fears, all of that, well they just get backed up and get in the way, and all of a sudden I become more of an avoider and I’m not getting done the things I want to get done. Does that sound familiar? It’s really easy to happen sometimes, so well, I don’t love the exercise. I do it because those are the cards I’ve been dealt and that’s how I make the most of the hand.
I’m JoyGenea International Neurodiversity Coach and excited to tell you that my Unconventional Leaders Playbook is dropping today
and so I’m encouraging you to grab a copy to learn more tips and tricks and better ways to handle the cards you’ve been dealt. Bye now.
