A consistent practice with I AM statements can make more of a difference than you might realize.

Hi, so today what I’m talking about when it comes to neurodiversity is about building into your future, and one of the ways that I do that is by doing ‘I am’ statements. It’s something I’ve done for many years ok at least five or six that I’ve done actually halfway decent in, the last three or four. I’ve taken a variety of courses to improve on that because when we speak into our future we help to build that future and it’s incredible. So, one of my ‘I am’ statements for many years was, “I am taking care of myself and I am in nature consistently in amazing ways.’ Ok, this is coming to you while on a kayak on a beautiful morning watching the sunrise and I’m telling you, that to me totally meets that criteria of I am.
So, you know what? If you’re working on your future and you’re neurodiverse and you’re thinking you know, ‘How do I start to have a more incredible future?’ You start to talk about it with yourself and you teach yourself how to talk to you and support you in that, so as much, if you are in a position right now where you are bullying yourself a lot, your internal dialogue is like, ‘Man, you’re not worthy. You’re not good enough. You keep failing. You’re leaning, unfortunately, you’re leaning into some of that and one of the ways around that is to start talking in terms of ‘I am’ and talk about the future, ‘I am easily taking care of my health and wellness. I am in nature daily, because nature nurtures my soul, not everybody’s, but it nurtures my soul.
I’m JoyGenea, international neurodiversity coach. Thank you and good luck learning about ‘I am’ statements. I’m happy to teach you. Bye now.
