I control my phone

Feeling scattered, distracted, and behind? Try this one-minute reset to reclaim your focus and your calendar. In this video, I share a quick mantra to shift control back where it belongs.

The Mantra:
“This is my phone. I control my phone. My phone does not control me.”

Use it anytime you catch yourself disappearing into notifications and rabbit holes. This simple cue helps you pause, choose, and get back to what matters.

This is a simple easy way to gain back more time in your schedule. To have more bandwidth to get a few more things done. All of the above, here we go.
It is a mantra and it goes like this:
This is my phone. I control my phone.
My phone does not control me.
I know that seems odd. A ton of people come to me and go, “I need some more time. I’m so distracted. I’m not getting things done on time.” And right away, I’m like, tell me about your relationship with this, this little brick, and tell me how often the notifications go off. Tell me what’s actually really important about this. Tell me that you can get on this device and quickly, just respond to one thing, and not wind up down 20 different rabbit holes, cause if that’s what’s happening, this is controlling you, and you are not controlling this.
This is my phone. I control my phone.
My phone does not control me.
I highly recommend you learn the mantra, and enjoy getting some time back.
