Leading through setbacks

How well do you lead your team through it when things don’t go according to plan? It’s a challenge for many leaders.

Different thinker leaders can do this particularly well, finding creative alternatives. Sometimes they just need the right encouragement and resources to find confidence in the process. As a coach, I support clients in building their toolbox to lead through challenges all the time.

So I’m reminded today, as the Vikings have just lost to the Chicago Bears, that just like in leading, everything in life, sometimes we have setbacks. Sometimes the team does not work well together, and they just can’t make it happen, and that’s okay. What are you learning from that experience? That’s a lot of what I teach clients. Stuff’s gonna fall apart. Stuff is not gonna go as you plan, but as an unconventional leader, do you know how to pick up those pieces, teach your team and yourself, and then lead forward out of that?
I’m JoyGenea, international neurodiversity coach and unconventional leadership coach, if you could use some help with translating that and finding more wins out of what feels like losses, I’m great for helping with that. Bye now.
